I may have a spare wing my new tent - non-snorers only! :P

those offers are very kind indeed.

Though please remember when our plan was formed it was supposed to be SUNNY... I mean what is the point in driving to France in June to have rain? I ask you.

I'll be bringing a spare Brit pup/2-man tent if there's an overflow of bodies from one or the other shared tents - but it's a BYOGS...

Guys you can use my spare tent to store gear from the elements if you wish.

hay, sorry for not being more 'reply-y fellows, horrible, irritating real life things killing my excitement.

Anyway, BedsnHarts, if we could borrow a 2 man tent that would make life easier for definite. our gear is just going to stay in the car with just us, ground-sheets and blankets under the rain cover.

Are we expecting a storm? Or a June shower then?

The various weather forecasts are starting to agree. Basically it's going to shit down at some point on Friday and maybe rain a little bit on Saturday.

Then again we expected the same at Hay on Wye and look what we got...

yeah, I am not worried - I'll just get wet during the day and change into some dry clothes on an evening. These pup tents held up great at Devils Hill and, well, you know what that was like.

Plus, it should still be warm.

Yes, it looks like the worst will be one Friday night, the odd heavy shower on Saturday shouldn't be a problem.

Are we going to get plastered from head to foot in liquified stone dust in the quarry? It'll be just like the Somme!

Cheers
Martin

Heh, there are areas on the quarry floor that will be muddy, but you Germans up in your rocky crags will be fine.
